We work with very different profiles, but with one thing in common: projects where brand, strategy, and business go hand in hand. We collaborate with investors, funds, and groups looking to structure or improve hospitality projects, with entrepreneurs launching restaurants or food brands from scratch, and with established companies that want to review, reorganize, or evolve their offering.
We create, launch, and grow hospitality and F&B projects.
Physically in Barcelona. Virtually just around the corner.
What we do
01
WE CREATE
We shape your project.
02
WE LAUNCH
We get your project up and running.
03
WE MAKE IT GROW
We optimize your project.
What we offer
We know that.
No two projects are alike.
That's why our method is tailored to each client, always seeking a balance between creative vision and operational feasibility, and focusing on what really matters: creating profitable experiences that have staying power. That's where the real work begins. We dive deep into each project to understand its context, the brand, and how it works in practice, including the numbers, because that's the only way to make good decisions.
About
kooleats began with a concern that was difficult to ignore: doing things better, with more discernment and less noise.
It wasn't a well-thought-out idea or a fixed plan. It started with a personal project, a blank notebook, and a strong desire to experiment, adjust, and move forward without always following the beaten path. And that's how we continue today.
The name comes from two simple words: "cool" and "eats." Eats because food, and everything that happens around a table, is at the origin of many of the projects we support. We use the letter K because it's different and because from the beginning we knew we didn't want to do the same old thing. That's where our symbol comes from: a K that transforms into a fish, always in motion, adapting and seeking its own path.
That sums up how we work: we get involved in every project, understanding the business model, the numbers, the brand, and how it works in practice. We don't like labels too much, but if we had to choose one, we would say we are a strategic consulting firm specializing in hospitality and F&B.
And we work to make projects work.
Everything you need to know.
Does Kooleats make sense for a project in its initial phase?
Yes. We accompany projects from the idea or a very early stage, helping to shape the concept, define positioning, validate the approach, and build a solid foundation before launch. This is especially useful when there is vision, but clarity, structure, or criteria for decision-making are still lacking.
What if the project is already underway?
Yes. We work with projects that are already up and running and need to pause, review, and adjust: from positioning and branding to business operations. In these cases, the focus is usually on optimizing, organizing, and preparing the project for its next stage.
Do you work only in hospitality or also in food and consumer goods?
We work in hospitality and food & beverage in a broad sense. This includes restaurants and gastronomic concepts, but also food brands, products, established companies, and businesses related to the hospitality and F&B ecosystem.
We collaborate with projects that want to improve their positioning, review their proposal, optimize their operations, or prepare for a new stage, provided that the brand, the business, and the customer experience are central to the challenge.
Are you responsible for day-to-day management or operations?
We do not manage day-to-day operations. Our role is to support teams that are already in operation, providing methods, analysis, and criteria to help them make better decisions at the strategic, brand, and business levels.
What role do you play within the team?
We integrate ourselves as a close partner. We do not act as an external agency that delivers and leaves, nor as a purely theoretical consultant. We work alongside teams, helping to organize, prioritize, and move forward at key moments in the project.
Do you work with data and numbers or just with brand and concept?
We work with everything. The brand is important, but we always understand it within a real context: how the project works, what model it is based on, and what impact decisions have on the business. Analysis and feasibility are part of the process.
What is the work process like?
We define a clear scope and work in phases. Each phase has deliverables and validation points, allowing us to move forward in an orderly manner, adapt the pace to the project, and make well-informed decisions.
What language do you work in?
Trabajamos en español. Also in English. Também em português, i en català. We adapt to the language that makes the most sense for each project, both in conversations and in deliverables, depending on the team, the context, and the project's target audience.
How do I know if it makes sense to talk to kooleats?
It usually makes sense when there is a project that needs shape, focus, or development: an idea that wants to become reality, a launch that needs to be well structured, or an existing business that needs to improve or take the next step.
And if you're not entirely sure, that's okay. Doubts often arise precisely at times of change. In that case, you can write to us and we'll look at it together. Aconversation helps us understand the context, see if we can add value, and decide whether it makes sense to move forward.
